Hayes Software Systems (Hayes) today announced that it has acquired Austin Sky Technology, Inc (“Austin Sky”). Austin, Texas based and privately‐held Austin Sky has over 12 years of experience in the K‐12 education technology space. The acquisition is the final step in a four year partnership between the two companies. Austin Sky’s solutions include sophisticated data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) tools that integrate data from clients’ enterprise data systems to the Hayes software platform. Austin Sky’s ETL tools will allow Hayes to deploy their solutions more rapidly and scale more easily to meet their client’s needs.
“With this acquisition we are gaining strong talent and innovative technology that builds on Hayes Software Systems’ industry leading inventory management platform,” said Michael Hayes, CEO and President of Hayes. “We continue to expand our integration capabilities to meet the ever changing requirements of tracking educational materials and technology resources. Now our clients can more easily implement Hayes products to meet their specific needs. This reduces project risk, shortens time to deploy, and results in an even better experience for our clients.”
Austin Sky’s software solutions and ETL tools are used in districts and in state agencies across the country.
“This will enable us to continue to flourish and better meet the needs of our clients and industry partners,” said Matt Winebright, Director of Sales and Marketing. “This acquisition allows us to continue to extend our technology into additional education markets.”
Financial terms of the transaction are undisclosed.
