Hayes Software Systems (HSS), experts in K-12 instructional resource management, has partnered with the Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) as their instructional material management provider for TCC’s Texas Education Agency (TEA) state-sponsored student information system, TxEIS. HSS’ TIPWeb-IM software will provide TxEIS customers with an integrated solution to ensure communication, accountability, and availability of student textbooks and teacher resources.
The partnership comes at a time when Texas school districts are being asked to be diligent with their state provided Instructional Materials Allotment funding. The integrated and specially priced solution will allow districts to better track and manage materials purchased with those funds.
The TCC, which consists of each of the state’s 20 Educational Service Centers, provides the TxEIS solution to over 800 Texas LEA’s (districts and charter schools). HSS provides asset management software to nearly 300 LEA’s across the state. The two web-based systems will now be integrated to deliver a comprehensive solution allowing school administrators real-time information for a complete picture of what is owned by the district, where inventory resides, and even who it is assigned to.
