February 22, 2017 – Chicago Public Schools, the third largest district in the U.S., has selected Hayes Software Systems to manage their technology and textbook inventory. In a competitive RFP process, Hayes was the awarded vendor chosen to help CPS track over 4,000,000 technology assets, capital assets, and instructional materials across 531 campuses.
Having worked with K-12 school districts for over 26 years, CPS chose Hayes because of our ability to help streamline inventory efficiencies and increase accountability. The TIPWeb product suite as well as our consulting and inventory services are being implemented to not only protect previous investments made by CPS, but also allow them to better plan and budget for future purchases.
Beyond delivering the largest inventory project in the history of education, the scope of the project also includes integrating several of the district’s key enterprise systems with TIPWeb, utilizing RFID technology to streamline the inventory audit process, and delivering guidance and expertise around inventory management roles and responsibilities.
Now working with 31 of the largest school districts and over 7,000 schools in the country, Hayes is making great strides toward continuing to provide the best possible solutions for our customers.
