Blake Sobol is a Senior National Account Manager at Hayes Software Systems. Before joining Hayes, Blake worked for an education service center in San Antonio (TX) for ten years, then moved to Michigan to serve as Director of Technology at Midland Public Schools. Blake’s background in K-12 technology management allows him to relate to the challenges that districts are facing. Some of these challenges include unaccounted lost inventory, over-purchasing of assets, valuable time lost counting inventory by hand, and the inability to return lost assets to their owners. He understands the necessity of having an easy-to-use system for tracking textbooks and other assets, which Hayes prides itself on offering.
Blake enjoys visiting with districts and listening to how they operate, saying “the fact is that we know schools, we listen to what our customers are telling us they need to be more efficient, and that’s how we continue to grow.” He finds satisfaction in the challenge of diagnosing a district’s problems, and turning them into opportunities for both the district and Hayes. Blake is a vital part of Hayes because he works with school districts to understand their biggest inventory challenges and identify the best solution(s) for them.
